Same Day HIV Tests

Results in 20 minutes

Same day & early detection

We are the only private sexual health clinic in the UK to offer in-house early HIV-1 Qual RNA tests, found in larger laboratories, which tests for the HIV virus itself from 10 days after possible exposure.

Our HIV tests include time for an STI Consultation to discuss the tests available and answer any questions you may have.

All appointment are highly confidential.

Our HIV-1 Qual RNA test (which looks for the HIV virus itself) provides results within 3 hours of taking the sample (1-2 working days in Leicester).

What if my HIV test is positive?

If your HIV test is positive, our Specialists will refer you a NHS HIV clinic to begin treatment as soon as possible.

Can I get a HIV test certificate?

Of course. Whether you need this for work, for a visa or for reassurance, we can either print or e-mail you a copy of your HIV certificate.

How can I prevent getting HIV?

One of the best ways is to avoid risky sexual behaviour (read more here).

If you are looking for a prevention method after sexual intercourse with someone who is (or may be) HIV positive, then PEP should be started within 72 hours.

If you are looking for a prevention method before having sexual intercourse with someone who is HIV positive, then PrEP should be discussed with your doctor.

PEP & PrEP are available from our clinic.

Is my HIV test confidential?

Yes. We DO NOT SHARE your HIV test results with anyone. Your HIV test results will stay with us. The NHS or your GP will not have access to your HIV test result.
