About Our Wart Removal

How does it work?

Consultation: Our specialists will begin by examining your warts and assess whether it is safe to proceed with the procedure.

Q&A: Once the initial consultation is over, you will be given the opportunity to ask any questions you have about the procedure and decide if you would like to proceed.

Local anaesthetic: If you decide to proceed, we will apply a local anaesthetic in the form of numbing cream or an injection to make the procedure painless for you.

Procedure: Our specialists will then carefully and safely burn off the genital warts until the desired effect is achieved, using a technique called hyfrecation (which has an effect similar to laser treatment but is not to be confused with it).

After-care: Once the treatment is over, we will give you the advice on how to recover from the procedure and help prevent further re-growth of warts.

Follow-up: We will review your case in 14 days to ensure you have healed properly and no warts are remaining.

What areas do you cover?

Our specialists can remove warts of any size, shape, complexity & from any part of the body.

These may include:

  • Genital area e.g. pubic, vulva, penis, perineum, anal, peri-anal
  • Soles of feet (i.e. verrucas)
  • Around the body (i.e moles & skin tags)

Is this treatment for me?

This treatment is for all who have warts of any kind, in any location.

This treatment is especially loved by those who have tried various methods over months and years, at a great cost of time and money, without the desired results.

Who will perform it?

Our sexual health consultants Dr. Manoj Malu and Dr. Vinod Kumar will be performing the procedures. They run specialist wart removal clinics in the NHS.

All female patients will have a female chaperone available on these visits.

How much does it cost?

We are a private clinic and we charge for our service.

The factors which affect the total cost of the procedure are:

  • Size
  • Number
  • Location
  • Complexity

See our prices on the Our Fees page.

How long does the appointment take?

The initial consultation takes upto 15 minutes.

If it is safe to do so, we will proceed with the actual procedure. This usually takes upto 45 minutes.

In severe cases, we recommend spreading the genital wart removal treatment over 2/3 sessions (included in the cost).
